Sound is an invisible, ephemeral material, only knowable as a discrete event when it is no longer audible. In spite of its elusiveness, sound can be carried away, held as a shape in the mind. This is a series of propositions for tracing expressively, sounds of and in the Icelandic landscape. They imagine sounds spewed, floating heavily, drifting over top of one another, washing away, hovering but ultimately, sounds held still for a moment.
