A microphone stand, two microphones and a machine that makes the microphones alternate between one side and the other. As the microphones alternate they hit the surface put in front of them. As they hit, they count. One counts up from one to one million; the other counts down from one million to one. The microphones are amplified some of the time, unamplified at other times.
